چکیده

The most precise measurements are done at present by timing of radiopulsars in binary systems with two neutron stars. The timing measurements of the Taylor-Hulse pulsar give the most precise results on testing of general relativity (GR), finding implicit proof of existence of gravitational waves. We show that the existing measurements, used for checking the variability of the fundamental constants, give the upper limit for the variation of the gravitational constant Ġ/G = (4.3±4.9)·10 year. Timing measurements of the binary pulsar J0737-3039 undoubtfully should give more precise results in the nearest future.

Radiation of the Gravitational and Electromagnetic Binary Pulsars

The energy-loss formula of the production of gravitons by the binary is derived in the source theory formulation of gravity . Then, the quantum energy loss formula involving radiative corrections is derived. We postulate an idea that gravitational pulsars are present in our universe and that radiative corrections play a role in the physics of the cosmological scale. In the last part of the arti...

Bounds on Extra Dimensions from Binary Pulsars

Evidence for gravitational radiation from binary pulsars places constraints on properties of “large” extra dimensions. The size of these extra dimensions must exceed about 37 AU for gravitational radiation to be emitted. Subject headings: string theory — gravitation — relativity Typeset using REVTEX

Formation of Millisecond Pulsars from Accretion Induced Collapse and Constraints on Pulsar Gamma Ray Burst Models

We study accretion induced collapse of magnetized white dwarfs as an origin of millisecond pulsars. We apply magnetized accretion disk models to the pre-collapse accreting magnetic white dwarfs and calculate the white dwarf spin evolution. If the pulsar magnetic field results solely from the flux-frozen fossil white dwarf field, a typical millisecond pulsar is born with a field strength ∼ 10 − ...

Relativistic Effect of Gravitational Deflection of Light in Binary Pulsars

An improved formula for the timing of binary pulsars that accounts for the relativistic deflection of light in the gravitational field of the pulsar’s companion is presented, and the measurability of this effect together with its variance estimates are discussed. The deflection of the pulsar’s beam trajectory in the gravitational field of its companion leads to variation in the pulsar’s rotatio...

Small-eccentricity binary pulsars and relativistic gravity

Small-eccentricity binary pulsars with white dwarf companions provide excellent test laboratories for various effects predicted by alternative theories of gravity, in particular tests for the emission of gravitational dipole radiation and the existence of gravitational Stark effects. We will present new limits to these effects. The statistical analysis presented here, for the first time, takes ...
